"The kneeling crunch is another variation of an abdominal crunch and the good thing about it is that this is perfect for people that may not be able to lay on their back or if you don't have the space or you just want to sneak in a few real quick. It is just a different variation but it is an interesting way to do ab crunches. Now of course you are going to be on your knees so find a padded surface or a mat or something even a gardening little pad will work. You are going to be, make sure that your hips are straight open, that they're not bent like this and your shoulders are back and down so you are not hunched. Now when you do a crunch what you want to do is basically curl in your chin and then curl into your abdominal. So you are crunching right here and it is actually a crunching of the upper abs. When you do this keep the tongue in the roof of your mouth for your neck to be activating the extensors and the flexors. So as I am exhaling I am going to crunch. I am going to look, eye contact with the belly button. If you notice when I exhale I am going to curl and then come completely in. Inhale, I straighten and then lift the head so it is a roll and an unroll of the head so make sure you keep that in mind and this is a good way to learn the technique. So again keeping the hips open so not into a sitting position or curving any part of the body or staying straight. And all you are doing basically is you are rounding in and you are curling the upper body starting with the head into the rib cage so good luck to you. I know you are going to have the best looking abs. I'll see you soon."
