"So next thing we are going to do is we are going to scale the teeth. Now the reason why we scale the teeth first, is to remove any excess like the hard tarter that gets built up in between the teeth and a lot of times it goes in the back of the teeth too. Because when people brush they don't necessarily like brush the back as well as they do the front because they want their front to look pretty and then like ok lets just do a little excess so we can get out of here. So this right here is a scaler. And then what we are going to do is we're just going to hold it, once again with the fulcrum kind of like a little pinkie hold. And if you can open your mouth sir. And then what I do, every body is different, I use the mouth piece to retract his lip open a little bit up here, I'm just going to slide up and then you hold his lip up like that. You can always use your finger but you know I don't want to get bit. And then you just, you use the scaler, start from the top part of the gum, and pull it down. And you get all that excess fun stuff right out there. And then also what you need, you can always use this just to wipe out real quick or a two by two gauze. One or the other. And then you go up here and you pull on that and you just pull it back down again. Isn't this fun."
