"Now I'll talk about a single tap tambourine. Now earlier, when we took a look at sleigh bells, you saw that we could put them on a strip, just a few bells on one strip to make a very subtle sound, or you could put a substantial amount on a stick, creating much larger or much louder volume. Now you saw that in the last two tambourines. The last tambourine we looked at; the half moon tambourine was very loud. It had many zils. Now, this would be a single tap tambourine. It's just a stick with one set, one pair of zils on it. Now, there's a couple ways you could play this. You could tap it into your left hand to create a very subtle and simple rhythm, almost mimicking a set of finger cymbals or zils, which we'll see in a moment or you could shake it in your hand to create more of a roll effect."
