"The third pattern of depression is called a heart and a spleen deficiency. So we have two conditions here. One is the heart deficiency, which it has shows all the symptoms related with heart function; for instance, irregular heartbeat, chest tightness, heart racing, or the abnormal circulation. You can see the patient's lips; there are a lot of purple spot, and also patient's tongue, there it shows the purple spot; that all shows abnormal circulation, because the heart is not function at optimal level. The second group of symptoms is associated with a spleen deficiency. That shows the digestive issue, like gas, indigestion, burping, loose stool, diarrhea, and generally fatigue, or even sometimes, patients have anemia, so two groups of symptoms, plus the depression symptoms."
