"Okay, the next point we're going to work is branch to heart, or small intestine 7. It's a good one for any pain in the foreleg, arthritis of the foreleg anywhere, so it's a good one to use, especially if you're having trouble working the foot points on your particular dog if your dog objects to having their feet handled. It's about a third of the way down on the front leg on the outside, and again, you're going to feel down in that, along the side of the joint until you feel your fingers falling into a space. It's not the easiest to find, so again, if you're not having good luck finding it you can always massage up and down; work that whole area. You'll catch a couple of the other small intestine points. These are all also calming points, so they can be good points for just making your animal feel better in general. And if you can get to your one point, you'll want to actually do that one as a holding. That would be the best way to do it. Again, you want to do both legs if possible, and if the animal prefers to lie down you can do that. You can just find the point, and work it from the lying down position. In fact, in many cases, if you start at home with your own dog; where they're in their common comfortable space, they'll quite often be more amenable to lying down and letting you do these points."
