"Capital Y. Here's a letter that, well, I will give a little guide line here so you can see what I am talking about. Here's a letter that doesn't quite follow the pattern of hitting the guide lines. And the reason is, the Y has a bowl that is kind of airborne here. And then we are going to come down here to cross. So without that little mark, we are going to say that the top of the Y is about 3/4 of the height and there's the hook. So we are going to be creating a letter that has parallel strokes. And it is important to keep the parallel here. So that this stroke and this stroke are parallel. And the other thing is that with the hook, we want to keep it somewhat similar to the width of the letter as it is. Like so."
