"Leg extension on a ball, great for strengthening the leg, all the way up to your lower back. Just take the ball and set it right down on the floor, and then sit comfortably on it, and take your feet out in front of you, on a sticky surface. To begin with, many people use their hands on the ball for stability. Other people can take their hands right up, whatever it is for you. We'll start with the hands on the ball. You're going to pick up your right foot, point and flex it, and then bring it down. And then pick up your left foot, point and flex, and bring it down. Right, and then left. Now challenge yourself by bringing those arms up, point and flex, point and flex; point and flex, and point and flex. The balance works the abdominal muscles. Inhale and exhale as you reach up each time; inhale, exhale; inhale, exhale; inhale, exhale; reaching, and the left side; one more time on the right side, and one more time on the left side, and then release, come down."
