"Ok, this is a tough chip. We're in relatively thick grass. We're on the side hill, right next to the green, so you can see, if I don't watch myself, I can, I can fall down here. So what this does, is this changes your shot a lot, because when you have an uphill lie, it actually adds loft to your club, so a sand wedge, now becomes a sixty degree wedge, or a seventy degree wedge, because what happens when the the ball is laying on this uphill lie, is it's going to pop up. It's going to go with the terrain, so what you have to do to hit this shot, is you have to adjust to this phenomenon of adding loft, so what I'm doing to do, is I'm going to put my weight on my back foot here, but I'm going to put more weight on my front foot, so I don't fall over. It's going to be a little shorter swing, because the ground is coming up to me, so I'm going to choke down, and I'm going to try to go along the contour of the ground, so that's what makes this a tough shot, so you get these a lot though, so let's see what I can do. I have a closed face. I'm just going to pop the ball straight up, and you don't get much spin on this shot, so that's pretty good. You don't get much spin, because I'm not really able to accelerate through the ball very much, so let's try that again. I'm going to open my stance a little bit now, so you can see I'm on an angle now, and I'm just going to try to push up, and hit the ball. So the danger here is, you hit it straight up, and the ball doesn't go anywhere, but you've got to practice these shots, because if you get this ball next to a green, and you hit a good shot, you can save par, or if it's a par five, you can make a birdie possible, but if you don't execute this ball very well, you're facing a real long putt, or another chip, so work on this side hill lie, this downhill lie, or uphill lie, because you get them all the time, so work on it, and you'll master it."
