"As we pretty know when you're smoking, the nicotine and the other chemicals in the cigarette are going straight into your blood stream and the passing into the, to the baby and that's actually preventing them from getting nutrients and oxygen they need for growth. So women who do smoke during pregnancy have an increase risk of miscarriage, premature birth, low birth rate babies, still births and then infants who will have sudden infant death syndrome. We research things, there's actually about ten percent of infant death could be prevented if pregnant women did not smoke. So it is really important that pregnant women not smoke and therapies for quitting; it's similar to, to anyone whose smoking. But it's probably really important that they're talking with their doctors and getting counseling from that doctor or calling a quit line, they may have a specific information that's helpful for pregnant woman. So I would recommend doing a Google search and I'm sure that there's a support group out there for women trying to quit smoking while pregnant."
