Hello my name is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg in Miami, Florida with Miami Dog Training. In this clip we are going to talk about the symptoms of worms in puppies and some of the things to look out for is an extremely dull coat, sometimes the dull coat is a good indication that they are not getting some of the nutrients that they need and a lot of times the reason for that can be worms. Another thing that you might find is that they are eating but they are not gaining any weight. That is because the worms are taking their nutrition from the food and they are not actually receiving it because the worms tend to be in the intestines before he actually digests those nutrients. Another thing to look out for is pay attention to their stool. If you see little things that look like grains of rice in their stool that is a good indication that there is worms there and that is something to look out for and he is going to need wormed. Now there are other kinds of worms for instance whip worm in which case you will typically see bloody stool, diarrhea and discomfort in them and a lot of times they really, it's just really uncontrollable diarrhea. So those are things to look out for when it comes to your puppy. Once again this is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg with Miami Dog Training.
