Hello my name is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg in Miami, Florida with Miami Dog Training. In this clip we're going to talk about if humans can catch worms from pets. And yes they can depending on what kind of worms we're talking about. Some worms are definitely transmittable, especially worms like ringworm which humans have been known to get. And what you'll see is a ring actually a ring in the skin, almost like a reddish or purple kind of ring that would you see kind of through the skin, through the hair onto their skin. And ringworms can be kind of really a tough one to get rid off so that's something you really always want to watch out for. And there are other types of worms like whip worms and possibly even if you have enough dogs or there's a bad enough flea infestation and you did swallow a flea that could produce problems for you as well. So once again this is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg with Miami Dog Training.
