"One of the symptoms of asbestos exposure. The person will normally present with shortness of breath, chronic cough, chest pain. The lung function test will be down. It's related to, usually, work. What they've done in the past with their work. You find it a lot in people who've worked in ship yards or in factories, railroads and construction, and automobile factories. With building components, materials. It also could be that is knows as asbestosis. It's a non cancerous disorder. It's not a pleasant disorder, it causes a lot of breathing problems. It can lead to further damage of the lung tissue. It can also lead to heart failure because of the lung functions being down. So there are other related diagnosis that can come from this. But, shortness and breath, and chronic cough, and chest pain are some of the most prevalent things that you will notice. Symptoms that you will notice with asbestosis."
