Hi, my name is Brooke Kramer. I'm a financial aid officer with Argosy University, in Salt Lake City, and today, we're going to talk about how to get cosmetology grants. Now, the first thing you're going to want to do, is first go to the cosmetology school at which you're applying, and see what kind of financial aid they have available. A grant is considered part of financial aid, and the institute might have their own grants that they give out. Along with that, you can also go to the government, and apply for grants through them. In order to apply for grants through the government, you need to go complete a free application for federal student aid, and you can find that at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Once you complete the free application for federal student aid, your financial aid officer from the school you're attending, will be able to tell you what you're going to receive in grants, as well as what you might receive in student aid, like student loans, and scholarships. If you have additional questions regarding Pell Grant, you can visit our website at www.argosy.edu.
