Follow instructions for accepting the request to connect a cell phone and computer using Bluetooth with help from the store manager of a cell phone broker in this free video on cell phones.
Hi, I'm Ben from the Cellphone Broker in San Jose, California. Today, I'm going to show you how to sync your cell phone with your computer using Bluetooth. The first thing we're going to do is go into options, scroll up to Bluetooth, and then we're going to hit the menu key. Hit options. And then change the discoverable mode, which is right here to yes. After that, we can exit out of here, save all of these changes, go back to the home screen, and then right here on the...on the Mac. On the Mac computer, it's pretty much the same as on a Windows computer, although the software is a little bit different, so do some research and see which application that you use for this. But what we're going to do is go into Bluetooth setup assistant. The majority of the time, it could be found right here up at the top right. Then we're going to come up here into the top right corner on my computer and hit the little Bluetooth logo. And scroll down to set up Bluetooth device. Hit continue. It's going to ask you what kind of Bluetooth device you want to set up, and I'm just going to hit mobile phone, since we're going to collect...connect to a cell phone. And it's searching for mobile phone. There it is -- BlackBerry 8830. I'm just going to hit continue. And I'm going to wait for it to go through. Right here, it asks me to hit continue. I'm just going to hit continue right here, and it's saying pairing with the mobile phone, enter this pass code in. So I'm going to go ahead and enter that in and hit okay. Accept connection request on the phone, yes. And right here on the screen on the computer, it's asking what I would like to use or sync with the mobile phone. It gives me two options. Use the address book or use the address book to sync it with, or access the Internet with your phone's data connection. If you're going to access the Internet with your phone's connection, make sure that you have the proper data package and then you can...you can actually use your phone as a modem to connect to the Internet wirelessly. Right now, I'm just going to sync my address book with my computer, so I'm going to uncheck the access the Internet box, and I'm going to hit continue. And it's all done. That's how it's done.
