Are you concern about those little lines around the corners of your mouth, those smile lines? My name is Keeley Selvage with Keeley Skin Solutions. I've been a clinical aesthetician for over half a decade and I'm going to talk to you about how to reduce those smile lines with facial exercises. And yes, it does work and I will tell you why. Our skin is actually attach to the muscle in our face. So when we tighten and tone that muscle with facial exercises, guess what else is tighten? Our face, our skin. So I'm going to show you few examples. The first one that we're going to do is I'm going to be demonstrating on my model here; so this is how you do it. I want you to keep your lips closed. Pull them in slightly, not all the way, keep them tight and then you're going to blow air into your mouth so that it goes around your lips. Very good. What you're going to do is you're going to pull that one for five seconds and repeat it three times and you'll really feel a tightening around the mouth. It's very nice. Okay, relax. Now the next that we're going to do is you want to pucker your lips, like this, pucker your lips. And then you're going to kind of pull in the corners of your mouth, like a fish face we've all done it before. Again, you hold it for five seconds and then you release. Very good. Hold it five seconds, release. Do that three times. Again, it's going to help that area around the mouth and those smile lines. Okay, the next one that we're going to do; I like to call this the donut face 'cause this is the face you make when you see a donut. You are going to make exactly a little "o" with your mouth and then smile slightly with the corners of your mouth. Very good. And you can see her cheeks tighten when you do that. Look in the mirror when you're doing this, not only will you entertain yourself but you'll see your cheeks tighten. It's a lot of fun. Okay. Now the last one that we're going to do; I call this the surprise face. Keep your lips closed, get a nice big smile with your lips closed; big enough to where you almost feel it's squeezing your eyes. If it does squeeze your eyes, raise your eyebrows at the same time. Smile bigger, there you go, very good and you'll feel your cheeks tighten. You want to do that for five seconds, three times. Okay, relax. Now after you do all of these you will really feel a different in your skin and you'll even notice a noticeable lift right away.
