Hi, I'm Rachel Yatuzis, and I'm going to show you how to clean an aluminum pan using ingredients you can find around your house. First, you want to start with a fourth of a cup of cream of tartar. Next, you want to add a fourth of a cup of baking soda. You want to mix these two together, add a fourth a cup of vinegar, and then two tablespoons of soap flakes. Ivory soap flakes very well. Just cut a slice off, and it'll break up really easily, even in your hands. You mix all of these together to form a paste, and that's what you are going to use to clean your aluminum pan. Grab a sponge, get a little bit of the paste on there. Cover the pan with the paste, and if it's really dirty you may want to let it sit for twenty to thirty minutes before you wipe it clean with a wet towel. You may have to repeat this a couple of times also if you have a pan that's really, you know, really rusty or really dirty. Again, I'm Rachel, and that is how you make an aluminum pan cleaner from household products.
