"What is automobile insurance? Automobile insurance is protection not only for your vehicle if you choose, but also protection for our liability when driving that vehicle, and that's really the important part of automobile insurance. In that - that's to say that it's going to cover you if you have an accident, if you choose to buy the collision portion of automobile insurance, it's going to cover your vehicle, if a tree falls on it or burns up or it freezes somehow or it's struck by a comet or - really anything comprehensive insurance would cover for damage to your vehicle, but it's also going to cover you for third party liability if you were to hit someone else in your vehicle, hit a pedestrian in your vehicle, hit someone's dog in your vehicle, hit someone's home in your vehicle. That's where the liability part of your auto insurance is going to kick in. You could purchase varying limits of automobile insurance here in Massachusetts, it starts out twenty thousand dollars per person, forty thousand dollars per accident and those are liability limits afforded to each others if you are in an accident and damage someone else's vehicle or someone else's property or caused harm to someone and they needed medical treatment or disability. So that's really what auto insurance is all about."
