"For a quick fix at home for a toothache, if you have Orajel or Anbesol in your cabinet, you can just take a little bit on a Qtip and put it along the area where it, you have an irritation, just roll like so and this will help numb the area until you can go to your dentist and have him take an x-ray to see what is going on with it too. But that's the best fix for anything. It's going to your dentist regularly, every six months so he can take the proper film that he need to diagnose what is going on in your mouth, whether it's a simple filling or a crown or even if you need something more in-depth such as the root canal if you have decay into the nerve. But a quick fix at home is a little dab of Orajel or Anbesol on the gum tissue to alleviate any pain until you can get in to see your dentist."
