Today we’re going to be talking about how to print to a printer that is on a different computer or print through a network. It’s really pretty simple. What you want do is make sure that on the computer with the printer you need to go into your system preferences and make sure that it’s actually shared so that you can print to it from other places. We need to under our system preference open up sharing. Make sure that printer sharing is enabled under our services tab. What you want to do is once you’re on the system that doesn’t have the printer that you need to print to you need to come up and go to file and then print. When your print box comes up, you need to select your under where it says printer you need to select shared printers and it’s going to have a list of any printers shared on your local network or any computers nearby. You select the name of the printer that’s on the computer you just shared it from, just like this click print and we’re done.
