"So now we have got our soil prepared, our garlic broken up. We are ready to plant. I am going to mark out some rows so I can keep things straight. Six inches apart. I'll do a little more. You can get four of them in here in this bed. That just gives us something to follow. One nice thing about garlic is that you can inner plant them in your flower garden, anywhere amongst other things you are growing in your garden or you can plant them in rows like this. Pointy side up, root side down and about 2 - 2 1/2 inches deep. Pretty much as deep as you can push them down with your finger. Then cover it back up. Pointy side up, root side down, and again about six inches apart. I figure my hand spread is about eight inches. Pointy side up, root side down. Push them in. "
