Hi. This is Robert Stewart, with hill13.com. You've just seen how you can break down and compartmentalize ghillie for your gear, to give you that added advantage in terms of your camouflage. But a lot of people that don't have military experience don't know how you achieve that and how you build ghillie. What you're looking at here is a piece of unbraided, camouflage acrylic rope. You take that rope, you cut the burned end off, and you unbraid it. And then, you can use handy little zip ties. This one is yellow so that you can see it. And you actually bond the materials in different places on your gear; your helmet, your hopper bag, your pads, even your boots. The overall effect of that, once you have this material in place, is that it conceals your profile, especially in a wind. And it allows it to move like the grasses and trees that are around you. As long as you're still, it's much harder for your opponent to detect your presence. I've literally had people walk up and shoot them point-blank, because they couldn't see me, squatted right in front of them.
