"So the last part of any ensemble when you are putting it together and you are wanting to go retro is to get the right accessories. Now we have talked about jewelry, we have talked about ethnic jewelry. We talked about head bands which still remained popular but were worn by the disco stylists of the time and I want to show you a couple of bags that might have been used in the 70s. So this bag is shiny the way we saw a lot of other disco stuff was. It is also leather which was used a lot and it also has really nice hardware on it that is shiny and we talked about the bling of the 70s which was really the disco times. It is even in a hobo shape which actually emerged in the 70's and is still popular today. Then I want to show you a bag that would go more with the ethnic trend that we talked about. This bag is from Peru it was made in Peru and this is the kind of thing that a hippie might carry or that might be worn with a dress like this to have a really ethnic ensemble. One thing is it was handmade and made in the area and that was important to people. The last thing I want to show you is a knit shirt. We did not talk a lot about knits but knits sort of spanned all the trends that we have talked about and this is a shirt right here and by knits I mean that it is sweater material and also that there is a crochet on it and this sort of detailing would be helpful in a shirt or an accessory or any sort of piece to really make your look look 1970's."
