"Hi, I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you the tips to perfect lips today. And the last thing we're going to do before we actually apply a lipstick is we're going to apply a lip primer. A lipstick primer actually will help your lipstick from changing color. I know a lot of people have problems with lipsticks turning colors on them just due to the underlying tones in the lip. This is kind of, will serve as a barrier to keep the undertones in the lips from interfering with the color of your lipstick. Also, you want to pat it on the lip and right around the lip line. It prevents feathering and bleeding of the lipstick and almost works sort of like a stain. It helps the lipstick absorb into the lips. The lipstick actually stains the lips so you don't have to worry about it coming off as often or reapplying. So we're just going to pat this into the lip and around the lip line. I'm going to let it absorb for about thirty seconds or so and then I'll be ready to apply our lipstick and our lip liner. "
