"I'm going to talk to you about how to do the perfect blowout. Now you can see how I got a lot of volume just by directing the hair up and back. Now I'm going to go through and I'm going to hit her bangs and I'm going to do that with a smaller brush. Some people have got a lot of curls in their bangs or calics. I'm going to show you how to tame that. First what you're going to want to do, is you're going to want to take the brush and bring everything down, horizontal. Then, you're going to want to go to one side at an angle and then to the other side, and what that's going to do is that's going to pull out any calics that you've got going on in the bangs. I do suggest putting it on low so you're not blowing the hair all around. And again her hair is mostly dry, well, it's dry. But I'm still heating it up and pulling it down and it's going to work just fine. So your hair does not have to be wet in order for you to style it. So you see how I'm directing that now over this way. Now I'm directing it back over this way and that's pulling this curl out that she's got here. So now she's got a nice heavy French. Now I'm going to take the smaller brush and just go through and hit some of these layers that aren't cooperating the way I want them to. This is when you can add your flips, and these smaller brushes are great for that. Any pieces that you didn't quite curl enough the first time, this is the brush that's going to get you that curl. Just remember to keep the hair up and then let it cool. As you can see, our friend is nice and smooth."
