"What is the recovery period? The recovery period is usually about a week. There's a lot of swelling the first two or three days, and that subsides over about a week. Most patients that have the hump taken off and the bones re-broken to straighten the nose have a cast over the top with some tape. That comes off at a week, and the nose looks just fine after that."
