"we are talking about hypnosis and hypnotherapy and how it can help you with all sorts of issues. So, something that I like to use a lot is called the anger technique. And we were talking before about um breaking old negative associations, forming new positive associations. That's exactly what we do with anger technique. So if for example, you have an addiction to what ever it maybe in whether it's smoking, alcohol, diet coke, eating cookies what ever it maybe. What you are finding is there is usually a trigger okay. Say for example, your trigger is every time I get home from work I'm feeling a little blue, I'm feeling bored, what ever it is, I reach for the cigarette, diet coke, cookies what ever okay. What I will do at the anger technique is I will break that pattern and I will say to you okay, rather than reaching for that what you are going to do is you're going to breath deeply and you're going to say to yourself, certain word that we have discovered is the best word. And you are going to make a certain gesture which will enable you to release the desire to reach for that substance and instead you're going to replace it with something pleasant that you think about. So, okay so for example, I'm coming home I want to reach for a cigarette rather than reaching for a cigarette I going to go ha freedom. And I'm going to make a gesture perhaps it's something like this and that just gives me that feeling of freedom which is the real feeling that I am looking for any way. The feeling that I wanted to create with the cigarette, I'm now enabling myself to create that with this anger technique. So that very briefly is how the anger technique works."
