TRES TEW: Hi, my name is Tres Tew. I'm an instructor here at Yeshua's Ryu Martial Arts. Okay, now we are going to show you how to defend yourself against two attackers. You are walking down the street with your sword on your hip, a traditional samurai, okay. And you are walking and you notice that someone is approaching from the front and the back, okay. First thing you want to do, step out, strike either there to the face or to the groin, okay. You know someone is behind you so you take, thrust back, okay, you can either thrust straight down but you probably want to turn your sword over so if you are going for the midsection it slides through the ribs, easier to pull out, okay . When you slide out, you are slashing at the first opponent again, okay. And you are slashing again and stepping back and slashing through to the second opponent, okay. I want to do that again just to show you fast motion, punch, stab, slash, slash, slash, okay. You just clean off your sword and then sheath. And that is how you defend yourself against two attackers.
