" The next free weight exercise I am going to show you is called a lunge. With the same barbell, you are going to take this barbell and place it on your shoulders. Good, you can either hold on or drape your arms over. I find it more comfortable to hold on when you are doing lunges, just for a little bit more balance and support since you are focusing on one leg at a time. You are going to take your right foot forward and take a big step back, left foot up behind you. Your abs are tight and you are standing up straight. When you are doing lunges, you are going to push through your front heel. So you are going to bend straight down, knee is going to remain over the ankle and exhale press through the front leg, inhale lower, exhale press, abs are really tight, inhale and exhale, perfect. Making sure that you are using your abdominals so that you do not walk from side to side pushing through that front heel and exhale, perfect, very good."
