"The next exercise we are going to do is called switch lunges. There are two options for this exercise because again, it is a plyometric exercise. So option 1 you do not have to leave contact with the floor. Go ahead and start off in a lunge position. If you are not jumping you are going to lunge step together. Lunge back, step together. Again the front leg is doing all of the work so make sure you keep that front heel on the floor and when you lift, you are pushing up through with one heel. So you should be able to move your toes around in your shoes even as you are coming up off the floor. The switch lunge which is plyometric exercise you are going to actually jump off the floor leaping contact. So you are going to start again lunging position, hands on your hips, navel to spine, knees over ankles and push yourself off of the floor and switch. Very good. Perfect. You are going to make sure that both feet leave the floor at the same time so it’s not going to go one at a time. Both feet together. "
