Hi I am Kyle Brayer. Your next in-home cardio workout will be the roll up. The roll up is an advanced move that is going to bring you from your standing position down to the ground and then make you use all of your body muscles to get you back up to a standing position. What seems very easy is actually very difficult, so I will have you watch for the first one and then I will break it down into steps. So I am going to be standing from here, I am going to roll back safely, if you need to you kind of use your hands to brace your body as you go down. And then I am going to try and use my momentum and my weight to bring me back up. So I start here, I roll down and back, and then I use my momentum and stand up. Okay, now the elements to this movement are coming back safely using my hands, rolling onto my glutes, coming back trying to get every portion of my spine to touch, the momentum really helps to bring your legs back, and then you come up and push off, you can use your hands at first, and then you are actually doing a squat to help you come back up. So this is really working your glutes, your hamstrings, your quads, it is working your abdominals and your lower back. So again, back, and up. Back, and up. If you want to get more advanced you can throw a jump in at the end. So back, up and jump, back, and up and jump. And that is your roll up.
