Kick boxing gave Katie an energetic outlet for her gymnastics body. It wasn’t until she combined kickboxing and yoga together, that Katie really saw a transformation in her body. She finally found a way to combine her two favorite genres of exercise: Kick boxing and Yoga. Combining certain phrases of yoga poses with kick boxing moves, challenges muscles to think and work quickly to react to the new movement. The more muscles that are working at once, the more calories you will burn. A lot of exercise participants reach what is called a plateau (when your regular workouts are no longer challenging and you are unable to burn any more calories) This is the point where a lot of people get discouraged and give up. With the proper diet and yoga boxing, a person will always feel challenged, hence avoiding a plateau.
