Now, don't freak out, you're not doing a ballet class, but we are going to work on the calves and I'm going to basically take you through what a typical ballet dancer would have to go through. So those knees and toes turned out, you just start rising up nice and easy onto your toes. You can also do this on your stairwell if you have stairs. You just don't want to drop down, sometimes people tend to drop the heel way too far down the step and it causes a lot of tear in those muscle groups. So you want to just kind of escape that all together and just drop down to the floor. Go up and down, up and down. Do these again for about 15. Do these turned out and then I'm going to turn forward. Again about 15. Then we're going to do it pigeon toed. Lift up and up and it does help to have something to hold onto otherwise you can do this balanced. Then in between each section of 3, so you're doing a total of 45, I'm going to go ahead and just stretch those out. So I'm pulling my toe up to the ceiling. If you have a wall that you're near by, you want to go ahead and just place that foot up against the wall and then pull yourself towards it. You can do that too. Also you can maybe just come onto your hands and your knees in this push up position and then just go ahead and alternate that way. That works too. But you really want to stretch them out in between sets because it's going to likely pull a Charlie horse and that won't be fun.
