Learn the best time of day and location for deer hunting in this free video.
Hi, I’m John. Let’s talk about the best time of day to hunt. Ideally it is usually to be in your stand before daylight and stay in your stand until mid morning or go in your stand an hour or two before dark. This is when the deer are traveling back and forth to their bedding areas. Ideal location to hunt would be near water, food or both. As you see in this situation here, you have water and you have hardwood which produces acorns which is the favorite food of deer. You should stay in your stand as long as you are able and until you are able to see a deer. It does not happen in every situation or every day but if you are able to sit there and be quiet you never know what will appear out of the woods.
