Hi I'm Jan Kain. And continuing on with our Tai Chi lesson today. We're going to move on to the next movement. Remember we began in ready stance, we had our opening move and we finished with both palms down by the sides. Remember when you are practicing at home if you want the complete flow that everything flows. One movement right into the next. For purpose of instruction for right now, we're going to move on from the previous movement. Remember we were already grounded and then we did the opening move calling for the chi. So moving on in this position with the palms facing the floor. You're just going to bend your knees slightly, right arm comes forward and you?re going to pivot on your right heel, elbow a little bit lower than your hand. Be sure you are shifting the weight all the way on that right foot, gently and carefully pick up the left foot. And you?re going to come down heel, toe and then just carefully shifting the weight to the left. You are going to be looking into your left palm, right arm is pushing away. You've obviously just worked a great deal of balance, coordination and strength for your whole body. And from here we are going to flow right into the next movement in the grasping the sparrow's tail sequence.
