In this clip we're going to talk about game plans for serving. Again, now you want to use your serve smartly, you want to use the right serves for the right places to be able to pull your opponent off the court and to be able to get your returner guessing a little bit. I'm going to talk to you about a two shot game plan. I use this quite a bit with my students just to keep it real simple and to get them started in the point. So basically a two shot game plan would be your serve, where you're going to locate your serve. Your serve might be that first one out wide and then your next shot would be pretty obvious, you just go one ball cross court. This is very important to remember, whether you get a forehand or you hit a backhand you will hit the next ball in that direction right there. So I hit my first one wide and get them off the court, my next one, right here, and get them off the court again, that's the two shot game plan. If you have that in your mind before you hit your serve that will get you to be a little bit less responsive or reactive rather okay? You don't want to be a reactive player, you want to have a game plan before you even start to approach the point. So I'll show you one on the add side real quick. Add side game plan might be and it's just a real simple game plan, very basic. Out wide serve, I'm going to do that again, didn't feel so good. That's so much better, right there, whatever I get, whether I get a forehand or I get a backhand it's going to go on that side of the court. You're going to one side then the other Very, very basic, very easy.
