Welcome to Expert Village. My name is Dr. Ed Riffel. On this clip we are going to do a little weight lifting and spring training for you body builders. Just for demonstration I am going to take the weights off of her. Normally if you have a spotter you might want to have them hand you some weights. If we go into an inversion we will be doing some weight lifting in an inverted position. We are going to go over to get our lats, the latissimus dorsi, of the shoulder. It helps the shoulder. We can come forward. We can pick up the abs and do some more of the lats and go up to put more pressure on the rectus abdominis. Sideways we are going to be getting some arm extension, the triceps. This is good for the shoulder, rotator cuff. We are going to rotate the weights and realign the muscles and tendons of the shoulder. You just can put your weights down this way.
