"The next piece of cardiovascular equipment I'd like to show you is arc trainer. The arc trainer is very similar to the elliptical trainer that I demonstrated to you earlier. To mount the arc trainer, hold on to the side handles, foot in each pedal and begin moving forward and back. Much like on the elliptical trainer, the arc trainer provides an excellent workout for those who have issues with their hips, knees or lower back. To begin a workout program on the arc glider, simply press the quick start button and adjust your resistance accordingly. The screen on the arc trainer is identical to the screen on the treadmill. In fact, most pieces of cardiovascular equipment have very similar screens. A very important thing to remember when exercising on the arc glider is to keep your hips stationary. Much like the elliptical trainer, there are handles to hold on to beside you, in front of you, and below the screen. The handles below the screen has heart rate monitor built into that, so by holding these handles you can view your heart on the screen. To intensify the workout, hold on to the handles and pump your arms as if you were running. If you're ever feeling shortness of breath, dizzy or light headedness, simply stop moving and the machine will come to a start. Step off the arc glider and press the stop button."
