"It's very important during your pregnancy to gain a little control before your birth by doing some pelvic floor stretches. So Emily's going to be our volunteer today. I'm going to have her sit up nice and tall; bring your feet a little bit closer together. Now if her feet weren't sole unto the floor, I'd have her feet place on a block or a blanket so the soles of the feet can rest nicely unto the floor. Now sitting up nice and tall, Pelvic Floor Stretches, it’s where you work with the breath and literally tighten the Cagle muscle and release on the exhale. Gives you nice control during the breath. So I'm going to have you take a cleansing breath first. Exhale out completely and beginning, inhale tighten the Cagle muscle, exhale very slowly and gently release. Inhale, engage really pull in, exhale slowly with control release. One more time, inhale tightens and engage, exhale, gently release. Now you don't have to wait for your chair practice, you can do this sitting in a traffic light, sitting at home watching tv, anytime you can, do this regularly throughout your pregnancy."
