"Crescent Moon is a very beautiful nice, low lunge and in prenatal yoga we've got a really nice modification for it. So we're going to have Emily first come into a high lunge. So let' have you start in table top. Perfect. Knees on your nice little blanket. Hands in front of you in table top. Lets have you put the left foot, left knee straight forward, put the foot between the hands and if you need to, grab a hold of your foot, and just kind of place it there right between the hands. And if its comfortable for you back the back knee up just a little bit, perfect, releasing to the top of your foot, lovely. Now Crescent Moon, is a low lunge. so I'm going to have Emily slowly walking up the leg, perfect. Now placing both hands on the finger bone, back it up just a little bit, perfect. Allow the hips to sink a little bit close to the, oh beautiful. Now notice how her shoulders are relax down. Now in Full Crescent Moon, the arms are up and it makes you have a little bit of a back bend that we don't want her to have at this point in time. Knee, ankle, beautiful alignment. Don't let that knee pass that ankle, its not good for the knee. Full extension of that back leg, hips are nice and level. Beautiful stretch for the thigh. Take a nice inhale. Exhale, float the hands down, lower that back leg, that too in the front leg and lower into child pose. Walk it back, walk it back, perfect. Lower into child, breath into that thigh."
