Ian McSwain is the owner and chef of Passion Foods, Inc., in Miami, Florida. Passion Foods is a full service caterer business. Ian was born and raised in New Orleans and began cooking at an early age from watching his mother and grandmother. He eventually studied nutrition in college, and learned macrobiotic cooking at the New Orleans Macrobiotic Association. Traveling the world, cooking in Japan, Italy, France and India, Ian eventually graduated from the French Culinary Institute in 1995. After graduation, he studied under several Chefs and finally opened Passion Foods in New York City and later in Miami.
