Hi I'm Deserie with HerbalWise in St. Petersburg, Florida. I'm going to show you how to make an herbal shampoo that will repel fleas for dogs. First you need to have the right equipment. You need a bowl, a whisk, a funnel and a plastic container with a pourable spout. The materials that you will need are apple cider vinegar, vegetable glycerin, castille soap, and essential oils of lemon, peppermint and clary sage. Alright once you have your equipment and materials you can begin mixing up your herbal shampoo to repel fleas and it's so easy you won't believe that you haven't done it before. So you will take one cup of distilled water, a half a cup of mild soap. I use castille, a half a cup of vegetable glycerin, a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, four drops of peppermint essential oil, two drops of lemon essential oil, two drops of clary sage essential oil, and I also like to add in two drops of citronella. You do want to be careful not to ever apply essential oils directly to your animal. You always want to dilute them with something. So you just mix it up. Now that you have got all your materials mixed in the bowl you want to take your funnel, insert it into your plastic container and pour in the shampoo. Then you're going to put your pourable spout on and you are ready to apply the shampoo to the dog. To administer the shampoo you want to start with the animal having damp fur. You want to massage it into damp fur and you want to rinse well and because this is so simple and using nontoxic materials you can even get the kids involved in making it. I'm Deserie with HerbalWise and that's making herbal shampoo for dogs to repel fleas.
