Mizuno MX 23 Specs

Mizuno makes a wide range of sporting gear, which encompasses the MX 23 series of golf clubs. These clubs cater to the short- and mid-range game, including irons from three to nine and a pitching wedge. Mizuno uses special manufacturing processes to create forged clubs that golfers of all handicaps can enjoy.

Three to Six Iron

The three iron is 38.75 inches long and has a loft of 20 degrees and a lie of 59.5 degrees. The offset is set at 0.24 of an inch and the bounce is 2 degrees. A Mizuno MX 23 four iron has an offset of 0.22 of an inch and the same bounce as the three iron, but has a decreased length of 38.25 inches while the loft angle increases to 23 degrees and the lie angle increases to 60 degrees. The five iron is 37.75 inches long and the six iron measures 37.25 inches in length, with both clubs featuring a bounce of 3 degrees. MX 23 five irons have a loft of 26 degrees, a lie of 60.5 degrees and an offset of 0.201 of an inch. The six irons have a loft of 29 degrees, a lie of 61 degrees and an offset of 0.181 of an inch.

Seven to Nine Iron and Pitching Wedge

Mizuno MX 23 seven irons are 36.75 inches in length with a loft of 33 degrees, a lie of 61.5 degrees and a bounce of 4 degrees. Eight irons are 36.25 inches long and made with a loft of 37 degrees, a lie of 62 degrees and a bounce of 5 degrees. Both seven and eight irons have an offset of 0.161 of an inch. The nine iron has an offset of 0.15 of an inch and is 35.75 inches long, featuring a loft of 46 degrees, a lie of 63 degrees and a bounce angle of 6 degrees. The pitching wedge has a bounce of 6 degrees and an offset of 0.15 of an inch, measuring 35.25 inches in length with a loft of 46 degrees and a lie of 63 degrees.

Manufacturing

Mizuno manufactures the MX 23 series with a technology that uses mild carbon steel to create a forged club. MX 23 clubs feature a milled pocket cavity and lower centre of gravity to increase the accuracy and ease of use for golfers.
