Laminate is a resilient material that holds up well against scratches and dents. After a period of time, the shine on the laminate dulls from cleaning products. Soapy cleaners leave a filmy residue, clouding the surface of the laminate. An acidic cleaner may remove the soap film, but does not restore the shine. Restoring the shine to the countertops help kitchens look cleaner and fresh.
