CBR files are RAR-compressed containers of comic book or Japanese manga pages that comic book readers display in book-style viewing mode. If two or more CBR files are part of a volume or the reader wishes to combine multiple volumes into a single anthologised book, CBR files can be combined by uncompressing and then repacking the images into a single file.

Right-click on the desktop, select "New" from the contextual menu and click on "Folder" to create a new empty folder.

Launch your compression utility and create a new RAR archive.

Select the folder containing the combined image files and add it to the newly created RAR archive.

Find the new RAR archive on the computer and rename the file extension to "CBR" without the quotation marks.

If file extensions are not displayed on your computer, double-click on your "Computer" icon, click on "Tools," click on "Folder Options" and select the "View" tab from the "Folder Options" window. Uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types" from the "Advanced Settings" panel and click "OK" to close the window and apply the new settings.
