The Ford Fiesta started production in 1978 and has remained a continual model for Ford. The Fiesta has always been a subcompact vehicle that focused on fuel mileage over creature comforts. The Ford Fiesta Marv VI, put into production in 2008, is the model's sixth generation. It has an aerial antenna attached to its roof just behind the windshield seal. Follow some specific steps to change this antenna to upgrade or simply replace a broken aerial.

Unscrew the antenna from the base of the aerial using a wrench.

Pry up the aerial cover using a small flat-blade screwdriver. Remove the cover from the base of the aerial.

Remove the two screws that secure the base of the aerial to the roof of the Fiesta using a screwdriver, and lift the base of the aerial off the car.

Unscrew the cable connector connected to the bottom of the aerial base using your fingers.

Screw the cable connector to the bottom of the new aerial base using your fingers.

Thread the antenna back onto the aerial using your fingers to avoid cross threading the antenna. Tighten the antenna with the wrench.
