Oreya Ltd. is a pottery and water features company that is based in the United Kingdom. The company specialises in producing hand-thrown, Cretan-style fountains, all of which consist of terracotta and have rounded, bulbous structures which are characteristics of the pottery made on the Greek island of Crete. Oreya water features are available in several models which encompass many different sizes and features.

The Athina fountain consists of a spheroid terracotta pot that is tilted on its side. The pot has a narrow neck, which culminates in a flowerlike spout. One of the "petals" of the Athina's spout -- near the top of the pot -- curves backwards to form a handle. The Athina is not self-contained, which means you will have to purchase a separate pump kit and create a reservoir for the pump to sit in. This Oreya water feature is approximately 8 inches tall and has a diameter of about 14 inches.

Like the Athina, the Oreya Stamni is a non-selfcontained fountain that rests on its side. The fountain has the same approximate measurements, 8 inches tall and 14 inches in diameter, but unlike the Athina, the Stamni's spout is rounded -- not flowerlike -- and is adorned with concentric rings. Also, the handle on the Stamni is positioned more towards its side, as opposed to its top, and is not connected to the spout.

The Koniko is another non-selfcontained, side-resting water feature from Oreya. However, the fountain is larger than the Athina and Stamni, about 16 inches high and about 14 inches wide. The Koniko spout is particularly large and has a wide, flat raised-edge or lip surrounding it. While the Athina and Stamni both have handles, the Koniko does not.

The non-self-contained Bala water feature is similar to the above models but instead of leaning completely on its side, the Bala tilts at an approximate 45 degree angle. The Bala is available in two approximate sizes, 12 inches tall with a 10 inch diameter or 14 inches tall with a 16-inch diameter.

Unlike the Athina, Stamni, Koniko and Bala, the non-selfcontained Koronios fountain stands upright, and bubbles water straight upward as opposed to pouring it out its side. The Koronios is available in three sizes: 16 inches tall with a 12 1/2 inch diameter, 16 inches tall with a 21 3/4-inch diameter and 20 inches tall with a 27 1/2 inch diameter.

The Nero series is the only styles that has internal pumps and reservoirs, which means setting one up requires simply filling with water and flicking a switch. More than eight Nero models are available, including the Nero 13, which consists of a vessel, tilted at a 45 degree angle, that pours into a larger structure resembling an oversized teacup. The Nero 23 is an upright model with a pedestal-like base. The Nero 13 is 20 inches high and 15 3/4 inches wide and the Nero 23 is 15 3/4-by-21 3/4 inches.
