The BMW 325i is made by the German automaker BMW, and is manufactured as part of the fifth generation of the BMW 3 Series. It is the best seller of its class and contains the world's first lightweight engine, the BMW N52B30. This powerful engine needs to be worked and if the vehicle is not driven for some time, then there can be problems with the BMW 325i starting.

The BMW N52B30 belongs to the N52 engine series. It is a straight six-cylinder petrol engine made of a combination of magnesium and aluminium, very lightweight materials. The straight six-cylinder design helps to reduce the engine vibration that occurs in V6 and inline four-cylinder engines. It also includes an electric water pump and the BMW featured Valvetronic system. The engine has a large power output, capable of 225kW, or 306hp, on command.
