You probably think of your new baby as a little angel. Make your little angel's nursery look like she is still living in the clouds with lots of cloud decorations. Whether you use a few simple cloud items to bring home the theme or you go all out, there are lots of ways to decorate a baby's nursery using clouds.

When you choose a cloud theme for your baby's nursery, the paint is one of the most important aspects of the room. Paint the walls a sky blue colour. If you want the entire room to look like the sky, paint the ceiling blue as well, and put clouds all over the walls in a couple different ways. Paint the clouds on the walls using a stencil or a sponge and white paint. Use varying cloud sizes so that they look more realistic. Another idea is to cut cloud shapes out of wood and paint them white. Hang them onto the walls in random locations.
Continue the cloud theme to your baby's bedding. Choose a white crib and white bedding so that her crib looks like a floating cloud as well. Go with white sheets with blue trim and a white blanket with small clouds embroidered onto it. Hang a mobile over the crib that has white clouds dangling from it.
Bring home the room's theme with your accessories. Rather than only using blue skies and clouds, however, bring in some other items that relate to the sky. For example, hang framed pictures on the wall of the sun, the moon, a star, a rainbow, angels, birds, butterflies and other items. Cut a cloud shape out of a piece of wood, paint it white or cover it with white fabric and hang it over the nursery window for your valance. Find some simple white or blue fabric for curtains, or look for ready-made curtains that are blue with white clouds. If you use blue fabric in the room, however, ensure it doesn't clash with the colour you are using on the walls.
