The Humax Satellite Receiver is a set-top box that receives high-definition television programming from the British Broadcasting Corporation's (BBC) and ITV's "Freesat" service. The Freesat service is a collection of free, public broadcast stations in the United Kingdom. The set-top box includes a number of input and output jacks for connecting the receiver to a television, surround system and other electronics. The Humax Satellite Receiver also includes a High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) jack for connecting the device to a high-definition television.

576i

Similar to 720p, 780p is the second highest HD video mode the Humax Satellite Receiver's HDMI jack can receive and process. The 780p mode is non-interlaced, and is a variation of the 720p video mode, and has a refresh rate of 30 times per second.

1080i

The 1080i is the highest HD video mode the Humax Satellite Receiver's HDMI jack can receive and process. The video mode is interlaced, contains a vertical resolution of 1080 lines and a horizontal resolution of 1920 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:9. The 1080i video mode's field rate is 50 to 60 Hz.
