The Peavey KB 15 is part of Peavey's "Keyboard Amplification System" series of amplifiers. While the KB 15's compact size and weight make it easy to transport, its design and features make it a perfect amp for practicing, warm-up or songwriting. The KB 15 offers 12 watts of power, two input channels, a three-band equaliser and a headphone jack.

KB 15 Controls

The control panel of the KB 15 offers two input channels, each with its own gain (volume) control. A three-band equaliser is controlled by shelving-type, active tone controls, capable of boosting or cutting each frequency by 15 decibels. Rounding out the front panel controls are a stereo headphone jack, a LED power indicator and a power control switch. The rear panel of the amp offers two recording out jacks, which split the output signal into left and right channels.

KB 15 Technical Specs

Technical specs for the Peavey KB 15 include a power and load rating of 12 watts RMS @ 3.2 ohms, less than 5 per cent total harmonic distortion and power consumption of 30 watts. Amplifier output is handled by one 8-inch speaker.

KB 15 Input Specs

Inputs on the KB 15 have an impedance level of 47K ohms. Nominal input level is rated at -14 dBv (decibels to voltage), with a minimum input level of -47 dBv. While the maximum input level is listed at unlimited, damage to the amplifier circuitry and speaker could result at excessive input levels.
